Founded in 2023, Dirt Dogs Contractors LLC is a SBA certified WOSB and certified DBE through the Nebraska Department of Transportation. With over 15 experience in heavy equipment operations and concrete construction, Dirt Dogs is proud to be a family owned and operated by husband and wife team, Adam and Jessie Huggans.

A native Nebraskan, Adam grew up tinkering with anything and everything he could find on his grandparent’s farm giving him a jack-of-all-trades knowledge. Adam proudly served as a submarine mechanic for the US Navy before returning home to work in everything from road construction and building culverts to irrigation ditch maintenance.

Jessie has over 15 years experience in running the day-to-day and managing different business. She has also been a teacher and soccer coach for many years, and is well versed in handling multiple tasks at once and organizing chaos.

Dirt Dogs was inspired and named after their two sons and three labrador retrievers who love to spend hours digging, playing, and rolling around in the dirt. It’s the simple things in life that often mean the most, and at Dirt Dogs Contractors that’s what you will get- a honest, hard-working, and trustworthy company.
